Power Up Your Tech was created to address a practical local problem: many women entrepreneurs are trying to grow businesses with outdated technology, inefficient systems and limited strategic support.
The six-month cohort combines refurbished technology, hard-drive and system improvements, equipment enhancements, hands-on resources, strategic support and accountability. The goal is not simply to hand someone a computer. It is to help women operate more efficiently, build capability and create a stronger foundation for growth.
Local focus: Current program materials describe the initiative as serving women entrepreneurs in Escambia County and keeping the impact, tools and growth local.

Leadership and professional-development books are collected from authors, supporters and community members, then offered free to women at Powerful Women events.
Recipients are encouraged to read the book and continue the cycle by passing it to another businessperson or returning it for someone else. The program combines professional education with gratitude, generosity and connection.
